Situation
Agricultural land portfolios in Brazil degrade quietly. Managers need early signal across biomes and multi-year horizons before unproductive farmland becomes irreversible.
Challenge
Translate satellite and climate embeddings into portfolio priorities: which properties are critical, declining, recovering, or stable, and what to do next.
Research
Evaluated AlphaEarth Foundations AI embeddings (Sentinel-1/2, Landsat, climate at 10 m). Reviewed how land managers receive alerts and how historical NDVI is used in practice.
Strategy
Build an MVP intelligence product: portfolio map, productivity scores, alert and report layers, and property detail with biome-specific recommendations (Cerrado, Amazônia, Pantanal).
Execution
Designed and shipped the MVP dashboard covering 9 properties and 23,430 hectares with eight years of history (2017–2024): interactive map, alerts, and year-over-year score trajectories.
Results
Managers can assess portfolio health at a glance and drill into property-level guidance.
Reflection
Scores help when they connect to accountable next steps for land managers.
